Diagnosing, Treating, and Preventing Concussions/Traumatic Brain Injuries and the Tormenting Symptoms.
Introducing the Missing Link
Society, at large, has not considered or examined the critical and inseparable relationships between the temporal brain, and the condyle of the lower jaw to the study and symptoms of concussions and TBIs. With the brain’s temporal lobe resting in juxtaposition to the condyle the vulnerability of concussive head impact is excessive and why the temporal lobe of the brain has become our center focus of the concussions
Impact with the testing headforms lacks the inclusion of this delicate anatomy, resulting in a widespread misdiagnosis of concussions, and TBIs, despite industry best efforts to protect the skull from impact forces using helmets. It is in fact, the lower jaw that traumatizes the brain through the TMJ!
The impact that causes a concussion can often fracture the delicate glenoid fossa bone of the Temporal Mandibular Joint that supports the base of the brain’s temporal lobe. Current concussion protocols do not address this fracture, often causing severe symptoms to persist. Treating this fracture will reduce or fully eliminate these symptoms.
These head impact concussive injuries will result from the impacts of sports, motor sports, auto accidents, slip-and-falls, equestrian falls, martial arts, military training and operations, increase G-forces of aviation,

Some of the treatable symptoms of TMJ fractures associated with concussions include:
Recurring Headaches
Irritability
Depression
Mood Swings
Hearing Loss
Mental Confusion
Nausea/Vomiting
Impaired Sense of Balance
Tinnitus

Healing Concussions and TBIs
Through the use of 3DCT scanning technology we have discovered fractures involving the temporal bones which support the temporal lobe of the brain, linking TBIs and the TMJ. These fractures are varied, involving the delicate structures of the TMJ and have been directly linked to the symptoms of TBIs, concussions and temporal mandibular disorders (TMDs).
Our revolutionary diagnosis begins with 3DCT imaging and a clinical evaluation. Our innovative approach provides a defined treatment plan to diminish or eliminate the symptoms of concussions, TBIs, and TMDs.
Our successful treatment protocol is non-invasive, non-opioid-based, and can restore the patient's quality of life in as little as 4 months.
Prevention and Performance Enhancement:
J-RES™
(Jaw-Repositioning Engagement System)
The J-RES™ device is more than a mouthguard; it's the evolution of headgear protection, a true game-changer. By repositioning the jaw away from the delicate anatomy of the TMJ, J-RES™ prevents TMDs, concussions, and TBIs. By allowing the user to clench their teeth while breathing through the mouth, it has also been proven to enhance overall human performance (that’s strength AND endurance). This human performance enhancement has been shown to accelerate physical therapy recovery as well! But its applications do not stop there, its repositioning also lends itself to prevent sleep apnea as
J-RES™ prevents upper airway obstructed breathing.
All while allowing the user to drink, spit, and talk through the open airway, this is the next generation of the outdated mouthguard!

"I began the treatment program by Dr. Williams with much doubt as to it being effective. No one in the Cluster Community has gone in this direction. I had tried every possible cure. I had lost hope and was giving up. I am so happy to say that being cluster free, especially during the last four months which is my typical in season cluster cycle, has given me my life back. I am so grateful to Dr. Williams and his concern and efforts in conquering my pain. I truly believe that his treatments have impacted me to my benefit. This treatment would be a Godsend to every person who suffers from Cluster Headaches."
